Elche

Elche is a large triving town, about the same size as Alicante but more modern and has grown fast.

Just opened a large Corte Ingles which is a upmarket shopping centre about 7 minutes away by car. You can park in the basement .

I recomend the top floor restaurant with views over the town soon to insert pictures of this.

You will find many designer labels here and can buy from laptops to cooking utensills. ther is also a large supermarket for food.

The town is famous for shoes with an industrial shoe estate nearby called Carrus. Also famous for its thousands of palm trees which are gown in surrounding countryside for export.

There are a least 3 Palm parks there with tours available
